SYLVIE TARPINIAN

Sylvie was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. She grew up with a deep appreciation and interest for the arts, having had gymnastics, dance, theatre, and fashion design play a major role in her life. As a campus life student leader a her High School she participaged in a mission trip to Mexico to help battered women and children. After graduating from North Eugene High School, she earned her degree in Psychology from Western Oregon University focusing on child developement and family processes. Thoughout her college years Sylvie has been a volunteer and advocate for the Head Start Program and The Children's Cancer Association of Portland, Oregon. Sylvie has made it her mission to reach out to at-risk youth by getting involved with programs that provide support and resources to financially disadvantaged families. Sylvie strives to ultimately become a behavioral intervention therapist for children so that she can help families build positive relationships.(Much like Mr. Trump's advice on TV) She is thrilled and honored to be representing the state of Oregon and wants to spread the message that success is about giving. Sylvie believes that if you use your accomplishments and blessings for the benefit of others, then you have and will achieve true success.
